Mascara Not Needed

Evie has the longest lashes. She apparently gets them from Stewart’s side. Although, I like to think that I might have had long beautiful lashes too if Sunny and I had not pulled them out when we were little. It’s a sad story. Anytime we went to the beach we played this game in the car, where would try and see who could get the most eye lashes out. (The car ride to the beach was particularly boring) No one told us we shouldn’t pull them out. And of course they grew back- but I don’t think as thick or long.

I also had an incident in high school that made things worse. One morning I was curling my stubby, little eyelashes and the eyelash curler cut off a section of my lashes right in the middle. It was awful. I tried to spread out the remaining stubs to cover the enormous gap, but clearly that wasn’t going to do it. So I looked funny for a couple of weeks until they grew back. My mom even bought me some fake eye lashes because she felt so bad for me.

I’m all ready trying to explain to Evie not to pull out her lashes. (That’s right Brooke… you won’t be able to teach her that terrible little game.)
