It's a panic attack in a tube.

Last week I was watching Sunny's kids and decided to make them ham and cheese rolls for lunch.  I'm not a fan of Pillsbury's packaging for rolls.  You never know when it's going to "poof" in your face.   I tried to convince Emily and Evie to do it for me. They weren't any help.   So, as I was opening the package of rolls, the thin piece of paper they give you to unravel the roll, broke off before it opened.  Oh the anxiety.   Now it was a ticking time bomb, at any moment it could explode.   So what did I do?... I put it back in Sunny's fridge so she could deal with it later.  I grabbed a new package of rolls for another try.  Same thing happened.  Stupid cheap packaging.  I tried again to convince Emily and Evie that if they just twist the tube a fun surprise would happen.  They weren't buying it.   Luckily, Sunny had left a hammer on the counter, which did the trick after a few hits.  Pillsbury is on my list.

I concur...but you may need therapy...do you want me to put you through snake therapy lilke we did for Max the cat?

I have to agree with Brooke. You might need some kind of therapy that deals with sudden surprises- balloons, pop-open tubes, etc. Those tubes are annoying but it cracks me up that you actually put the first one back in the fridge without fully opening it. Too funny.

Amber, you make me laugh! I can just see you trying to convince your kids to do it for you. I too, laughed out loud that you put the first one back in the fridge. Oh, you are so funny. I wish we lived closer.

Yes...and the tube is still unopened...although I have finally learned to conquer this fear. I'm one up on you Amber.
