UPS is on my list

A few weeks ago, I had put on my "Bottom 5"- that the UPS man tried to open the door before I had a chance to get there. It was weird, but I had to open the door because UPS won't leave packages at our place.

Anyhow, I got another package the following week and answered the door quickly and signed for it ... no problem. Everybody acted as they should.

So, this week when he came, I answered the door again very quickly and as soon as he handed me the thing to sign, he jumped into a long apology for trying to open the door and hoped it didn't scare me. He tried it make it sound like it was normal to check to see if the door is open because he just slides the package in if it is. I was super confused because I couldn't figure out how he knew I saw him try and open the door etc.

Later, I found out that Stewart had actually called UPS after the first incident happened, to see if that was normal for drivers to do. Which obviously it is not. Stewart wanted everything to stay anonymous and didn't even want me to know he had called. He just suggested they bring it up in their next training so the driver wasn't singled out. Well, clearly, they told the driver. Which is fine, but they didn't have to specifically tell him the address that made the call. Now it is forever going to be awkward when I have to see this guy. Argh, UPS.

Terry and I so enjoy you and Sun's blog. It's so fun to see and hear how you guys are doing. I too, would be very disturbed if the UPS guy tried to open my door. Good for Stewart for calling! Hopefully that ends any other fishy business.
