Happy Birthday to Sunny and Me!

Sunny and I turn 33 today.  Yay!  Happy Birthday Sunny! 

Some of you have known me for 33 years and some not quite as much.  So I've created a list of 33 things that you may or may not know about me.  Enjoy!


1. I am very protective of my pillow. I don't like anyone else or thing to touch it.  That's where my face goes. I don't want bums or grimy feet on it.
2. I can't keep my eyes closed through a whole prayer.
3. I hate buzz words like "outside the box" and "take away".
4. I am not an aggressive driver. Sunny and I were in two car accidents the summer right before we got our licenses and one was pretty serious and it has since affected how I drive.
5. I have never been pulled over by a cop.
6. I split fish crackers in half with my teeth before I eat them.
 

7. I like AFV.  And push it onto my kids, that really could care less about it.
8. I hate being fed by someone else. Sure, I'll try your meal, but hand me a fork and I'll feed myself please. 
9. Farm animals make me nervous.  I don't like getting too close.
10. I never make our bed and have no plans on changing that. No one goes in there anyway, so who cares.
11. Sunny is smarter than me. She has always scored at least 1 or 2 points higher than me on any test we've both taken.
12. I loathe the kid's cartoon "Caillou".  Why doesn't he have hair?  Why does he talk like a 2 year old when he is four.

13. Styrofoam gives me the hibbie jibbies.
14. I really don't like being tickled.
15. I hate dressing up in costumes. It's a deal breaker if I'm invited to some sort of function and you're suppose to dress up. 
16.  Which brings me to how much I hate Halloween. I despise this holiday. I'll tolerate it for the kids, but pumpkins are the only decoration and I make Stewart hand out the candy.
17. I cannot for the life of me open a box of Saran wrap properly.  I end up breaking the box every time.

18. I refuse to drink the milk from the bottom of a bowl of cereal. I think it's gross.
19. I get claustrophobic very easily. I blame my brother that would sandwich me in between to giant beanbags when I was little.  If I hear people just talking about the "Nutty Putty Caves" and the "Birth canal" it makes me break into a sweat.
20. I tear up at the end of Baby Story on TLC every time.  I'm just so happy for the new parents.
21. I appreciate clever advertising.
22. I'm a huge fan of sandwiches. I could eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 
23. I hate the name of the cereal "Sugar Smacks" and it makes me cringe every time I hear it.  And this is why:  When my mom was breastfeeding my younger sister Erin, she would say , "Who wants some sugar smacks?" and make a very gross accompanying noise.  I was only 3 years old at the time.  I'm still disturbed by it.

24. I had a "peeing my pants" problem for a couple of years back in college when I laughed too hard.  Thankfully, it hasn't been a problem since. :)

25. I'm terrible at confrontation.  I wish I was better.
26. I like banana flavored candy. I don't necessarily seek it out, but I think it's a fun change. 
27. I wake up no less than 5 times a night every night. And I can't always immediately go back to sleep. I've been like this ever since I can remember. I wish my insurance covered testing at a sleep center.
28. I don't keep my toothbrush in the bathroom.  I saw a documentary on airborne particles after you flush the toilet and that sealed the deal.
29. I have to switch to cinnamon toothpaste while I'm pregnant.  Any other flavor will make me throw up.  I immediately have to switch back to regular toothpaste as soon as I have the baby because then the cinnamon reminds me of being pregnant and being sick and then makes me want to throw up.

30. I don't like rubbing lotion on other people.  Even with my own kids... it's hard for me.
31. I like sandwiches cut on a diagonal if possible and I have no idea why.
32. I never sneeze less than 3 times in a row when I have to sneeze.
33. I completely tune everything out while I'm reading a book.  Stewart and I had to establish a rule that he needs to touch my arm to get my attention.
