Evie is now 5

This sweet little girl turned 5 today.  She has been looking forward to her birthday for months.  She had me draw a calendar on her chalkboard 45 days before today, so she could start marking the days off.  Since her birthday fell on a Sunday we had her very first official party yesterday with girls from our ward and cousin Emily.

She helped me paint butterflies that we hung from the ceiling to make things magical.

Her Tinkerbell cupcakes. (Which next time I think I might do just the
mini-cupcakes. One of her little friends ate 6 of them.)

Evie loves charts and knowing what's expected.
So we made her a chart to check off during the party.

Showing off their gumball necklaces.

Sunny is trying to get one of the girls to laugh or move during our "Sleepy Fairies" game.  She had the rest of us  laughing, but the last two girls were determined not to move or make a sound.

Sunny's mad face painting skills turned Elizabeth and Emily into fairies.

Evie and Macy wanted butterflies. Unfortunately, I painted them.
I should have just held off until Sunny could do them.

And later that night Evie had fun with a makeup kit she received as a gift.  :)

It was a very fun day and we had a very happy girl on our hands.  And a special thanks to Sunny for helping me out!

Happy Birthday sweet Evie!! I remember when you were a tiny baby sitting on my lap in church. You've always been a special, special girl.

Much love!!
