So far he is a good little baby. We couldn't be more happy to have him in our family.
Birth Story (for those that want it.)
A general time line of his birth
5:30 PM - Alert Sunny I think I might be having real contractions. Put her on standby.
6:13 PM - Call Sunny again and tell her to come get the kids because these are definitely the beginnings of labor, and assumed it would be fast like when I had Stew.
8:00 PM - Still contracting regularly but they aren't getting any stronger.
9:29 PM- Call Sunny feeling stupid because my contractions stopped all together and tell her we'll pick the kids up in the morning before she has church.
9:30 PM- Really feeling depressed because I really wanted to have him over the weekend.
9:45 PM- Watching the dessert round on "Chopped" and think both desserts look terrible.
9:45 30 sec PM - Feel something warm start to run down my leg. Panic, since my water has never broken on it's own before. Start to run towards the bathroom while Stewart tosses me a towel.
9:49 PM- Call Sunny and tell her she's back on duty. And head to the hospital.
10:30 PM- Admitted to the hospital and they start my antibiotics since I was Strep B positive.
11:00 PM- Get my epidural because why not.
12:30 PM- 1:00 AM - Have a serious panic attack because my lower body is super numb. I've never had an epidural take full affect like that and I became super claustrophobic. I seriously considered having them yank the epidural out. I make Stewart tell me about his chemical engineering classes to help take my mind off the fact that I have no legs and make me go to sleep. It worked immediately.
4:00 AM- They give me pitocin since my contractions aren't getting any stronger and I haven't dilated since I arrived.
5:40 AM - I'm finally complete and ready to push. My epidural has also worn off enough that I can once again feel my legs and enough of the contractions that I know exactly when to push. It was the perfect amount of pain/ pain relief.
5:49 AM- Little Ryan is born.

Hooray! How funny that it took so much longer this time. I'm glad he's here safely though and hope life is going well with three little ones. I'll need tips from you pretty soon here!
I think he looks like little Stew! Please let me know what I can do to help!
We three kings! How fun. I can't wait to meet him.
