Evie is now 7

Evie turned 7 on Aug. 7th this year.  She was so excited the night before that we may have threatened that she wouldn't receive any presents unless she finally went to sleep.  That did the trick.  :)

We created a balloon avalanche on her door so she would be surprised in the morning.  Unfortunately, she had a nightmare during the night and opened the door to come tell us, so it might have scared her even more since she couldn't see what was falling on her face in the middle of the night.  (And there were suppose to be more balloons, but I forgot to tell Stewart what I was planning when he bought them.)

We lit candles at every meal for her to blow out. She just wanted cereal for breakfast, so there is a lone ladybug candle representing.

We played pin the ice cream on the ice cream cone.

I'm pretty sure there was a lot of cheating going on.

She wanted to do a craft, so I made her help me make her own tissue paper flower decorations.

And then later that night after Stewart's class, we all headed up to Chuck E. Cheese's to really let the celebrating begin.  She blew through a  whole cup of coins on one game in about 4 minutes.  But she was a proud little chickie when she showed us how many tickets it produced.  :)  Stewart and I had to continually recite, "At least she is having a fun."   And I forgot to bring the camera, but go here and picture her just a year older.

A couple of days later, she walked around like a snaggle-tooth waiting and drooling for her front tooth to come out.
