Stewart also gave knitting a try. He’s really good with knots (thanks to Boy Scouts) and so he picked it up faster than I did. He decided to make himself a beanie. He didn’t really have a pattern, so it turned out a lot smaller than he expected. Okay, a lot smaller. It just barely fits little Stew.
He did a more difficult stitch with the beanie and while watching TV forgot to switch back and forth between the two different stitches and a fun ring appeared towards the top, which then made it go to a point. Since he was almost done, he didn’t want to start over (I don’t blame him) so this is the fun result.

that blanket is huge! and cool. Nice work to both of you. And I'm sorry about evie's freckles, no grandkid can escape the pasty.
Uhh.. that hat is unbelieveable. You really could market the three-in-one thing you've got going on. I love the blanket. How cudley! you are going to have to teach me.
