Old Friends

A couple of months ago I got a hole in my favorite sweater. It was a sad day. I couldn't bare to throw away my dear friend, so I decided to make a sweater for Evie out of it. Clearly, there are technical difficulties with the sweater since I didn't have a pattern. So don't look closely. But Tadaa! The sweater lives on.

After showing my parents my work of art, my mom busted out some old sweaters and we went crazy. Or rather ... I let my mom have fun while I watched closely, seeing the correct way to do it.

Goodbye old sweater

The little version

New sweater for Stew
We ended up making another sweater for Evie and Stew, but the pictures didn't turn out so maybe I'll post them later. I went home with 3 more old sweaters to reinvent, but I'm afraid they're are the back burner until I get Evie's bobble dress done.

I am so impressed with your mad skills and ingenuity. By the way, we will probably have some more clothes for Evie to send your way soon.
