We made a pinata.
A Christmas tradition of Stewart's.
The kids tried their best to be good, so they could receive treats from the Elf.
Unfortunately, Stew decided to draw on the walls. And then Evie added faces to his drawings. She tried to lie her way through it, until I explained I knew it was her because Stew doesn't draw faces.
It was a sad morning the next day when they both received a note from the Elf instead of a surprise.
Evie had her Kindergarten Christmas program.
It was really cute.
She said her part perfectly.
And just for fun, here is a little boy with long curly hair in Evie's class. After a month in school she came home and excited reported that Zeke was actually a boy. I had a good laugh.
On Christmas Eve we broke the pinata.
He's suppose to be a snowman.
He's suppose to be a snowman.
Christmas morning fun.
Dreams came true.
And a puppet show, which was the present I made for the kids.
. A stage that hangs in the doorway.
And 8 little friends.
That I really enjoyed creating.
And then we were thrilled when the next book had a Fairy named Evie.
Needless to say, we've had a great December.
Evie received books from Grandma King
that to our surprise had fairies named Amber and Sunny.
(I'm not going to lie, it's more fun when there's a character in the book named after you.)
Needless to say, we've had a great December.

What an amazing gift you made for them. That puppet show theater with a full cast of characters was simply amazing. I really shouldn't be so surprised after all the creative things you have come up with. You are so talented. What lucky kids you have.
It all looks super fun. I'm very impressed at your puppet show and especially all those puppets. Go Amber!
The puppets turned out great! Do you want to make some for my kids? :)
I'm laughing at Zeke actually being a boy! How funny. I miss you!
