Our Week In Pictures

We said goodbye to stuffed animals that were on their way to D.I., but instead decided to turn them into puppets.

After a little reconstructive surgery,  they are getting more love than they have ever received.

I think a few more stuffed animals might head to surgery this week as well.

I made a contraption to kill a spider so I wouldn't have to get close to him.  ( I miss my swiffer sweeper.)  In the end  I bribed Evie to smash it for me.  It has heavy duty tape on the end so the spider's body would stick to it.

We had an Easter celebration at the parents house on Saturday.  Papa is reading the first clue  for a treasure hunt.

And at each clue they unwrapped a bundle of Easter eggs before moving on.

Stew was a huge fan of the paper noise maker.

Ryan was a just excited to be outside.
I pondered about deep doctrine... or I just didn't know my picture was getting taken.

We snuggled little Canon.
And completed a 500 piece puzzle that Evie got for Easter.  Although, you wouldn't know it from Stewart in the picture (I caught him off guard.), he really got into doing the puzzle. I forgot how much I like doing puzzles.

TOP 5
1. Sunny having her baby.  It's a boy! Yay for a little Canon, a cousin for Ryan to play with when they're older.
2. Sunny being part of a photo/ video shoot while staying at the hospital for IHC. You better believe I'm going to track that sucker down when it's released.  :)
3. Getting a bunch of new towels.
4. Coloring Easter Eggs.  It never gets old.
5. Sharing with Sunny a reoccurring nightmare that I've had since the first grade. And having her hang up the phone on me because she couldn't take it anymore. I laughed for several minutes after she hung up, it was so funny to me. (oh and don't you worry... I'll burden you with the dream too in July.)

BOTTOM 5
1. Craving cinnamon rolls but not wanting to make them, so I cheated and bought ready made ones that you just have to bake- they were a huge disappointment. Surprisingly, Evie was the only one that liked them (she normally doesn't like baked treats very much).
2. Going early to pick Evie up from school, to secure my favorite spot in front,  only to find it taken along with every other spot within a couple of blocks.  So I had to park far away and walk with Stew and the baby in the snow to get her.
3. Letting Ryan just roll on the floor by me and play with toys while I was catching up on some blog reading.  He was giggling and having the best time and finally I glanced up to see what he's playing with....  It was his very saturated diaper I had changed earlier.  And he managed to unwrap it and was throwing it around everywhere.  Ewe.
4. The ice pack having to be pulled out several times this week for the kid injuries.
5. Deciding I wanted to attend relief society on Sunday instead of being in Primary, so instead of just telling the two teachers that called me this week that I couldn't do it, I lied and said I was all ready subbing.  ( I know, sometimes I lie when there's no point. It's a problem I'm working on.) Then Sunday, they pulled me out of Gospel Doctrine to see if I would sub in Primary, so of course I said yes. Lesson relearned- lying never works.

I love that you still had to sub for primary.

And I don't think you should burden anyone else with your dream...I'm still grossed out by it. gag gag

I love your idea to turn old stuffed animals into puppets! We have so many stuffed animals.... thanks! It was so fun to see you at the library a while ago. I will try to be there tomorrow... I am a slacker!
