2nd Day of School - 1st Day of Preschool

I forgot to take a picture of Evie on her first day of school, so here is the second day of school picture.  (And she started school 3 weeks ago.)

Stew missed the cut off to go to Kindergarten this year since his birthday is in October.  He was bummed, but we got him in a preschool in the neighborhood with his buddies, so he's a happy little dude.

This Week's :

TOP 5
1. Having the missionaries over for dinner and one of the Elder's is 18 and has only been out for 21 days.  He seemed really young.
2.  Loving Evie's 2nd Grade teacher.  She has been teaching for 15 years and she won't be having a baby this year. Wahoo!
3. Going into Evie's room at night to tell her it's time for lights out and for her saying, "Ah, mom, let me just get to the end of this chapter."  She is my daughter.  :)
4.  Finding Stew the preschool at the last minute. Yay!
5.  Livy putting in a valiant effort to get us to move to AZ.  (I would love it down there.)

BOTTOM 5
1. Getting conned into a Kirby vacuum demonstration at our house.  He was suppose to shampoo our front room carpet.... and two hours later... I had to leave and it never happened.  Lame.  (Although, I would buy a Kirby vacuum in a heartbeat if they weren't ridiculously overpriced.
2. Forgetting my wallet at home and not realizing it until I went to swipe my card at the checkout.  Luckily, it wasn't a huge shopping trip and the lady just kept the bags at her station while I ran home.
3. Watching a neighbor's kids and the 3 yr old pooping 30 minutes after arriving and he wouldn't let me change him.  We suffered for 2 hours with the smell, even with windows open.
4. Bringing home the 2nd book in a series from the library and then realizing that I never actually read the first book.  oops.
5.  Dry heaving for 5 minutes and then eventually throwing up in the bushes from the stench in a sister's house in my ward.  We were sent to clean her home while she was in the hospital and it was like a home of a hoarder.   But I'm happy to say, with 25 sisters working nonstop for 6-7 hours, her home is now sparkling clean.
