Stew had his first friend birthday party on Saturday. He loved every minute of it.
We played lots of boy games. This is a picture of him shooting a monster.
We decorated pumpkins with candy and made them into monsters. Sadly, there aren't any more pictures of the party. That's what happens when there's lots of little boys full of energy and candy.
In other news......
Evie lost her other front tooth. YAY! It was also a painfully long process. I may have threatened to pin her down and pull it out myself during one of her whining episodes of why she couldn't eat normal food.
Stew cut his own bangs, so we had to buzz off his hair to fix it.
And this kid won't let me get near him with scissors or a razor. His hair is out of control.
I crocheted this granny square pillow during the sessions of conference. He makes our couches cheery. Hopefully he'll have a buddy soon.
TOP 5
1. Playing games with family. I could play all day.
2. Survivor and Amazing Race back on.
3. Finally playing Candy Crush. I'm addicted.
4. Evie's school only having one fundraiser the whole year and it's a carnival. And extra bonus: you can use boxtops to pay for the tickets. So it's pretty much ends up being free. Love her school!
5. Evie actually taking a good school picture this year. No awkward, fake smiles this time. Whew!
BOTTOM 5
1. The word "chasm" being used in the last 10 books that I've read. EVERY SINGLE ONE. I don't know exactly why I hate the word so much. Perhaps, I feel the author is trying to be fancy instead of just saying - ravine, gorge, crevice, canyon etc. (And yes, Brooke, you used it in your book as well. )
2. Stewart using one of my precious bobby pins to close a vegetable bag in the freezer. If it was a regular bobby pin, I wouldn't care. But I only have 3 of these really amazing bobby pins that I got from Sunny and I treasure each one.
3. Little friends that come over to play and instead of asking for something to eat, they say in a whining voice, "I wish I could have ________ . " I know I'm a bit crazy, but just because they phrase it that way, I won't give them whatever they're asking for. But if they just ask nicely for it, absolutely it's theirs. I might have issues.
4. Finally, finally beating level 35 on Candy Crush. (It took me days of trying.) Only to find out that I can't go to the next level without having friends on Facebook help me out. Lame. Stupid Facebook. Stupid Candy Crush.
5. Stew losing his remote control car. We have the remote for it, but can't find the actual car. I have no idea where it would be hiding.
