I'm hoping in the end, she'll choose to just be a kitty cat.
Unfortunately, that means the ladybug would be up for grabs.
Stew was excited.
It's hard not to deny this face anything though. So we'll see what happens at the end of the month.
And because I'm sure you're all dying to know where I got her kitty cat costume.... I made it out of an old slinky black skirt of mine that I've had for years. And just covered one of her headbands and used some felt for her ears. I've never made my own pattern before so it was a little scary and had to opt for a ruffled neckline since the fabric was too slippery for my sewing skills to make a nice hem. But I think it turned out well and for zero dollars... success!

We all (the kids and I) think the kitty cat dressed up like a ladybug is darling. We hope she doesn't change her mind before the big day.
