Has finally come and gone. I cannot tell you how excited Evie has been for this day. The daily reminders of how many days until the 100th day started two weeks into the school year. I've heard from other parents that their child had to bring 100 of something on that day. So a week ago Evie and I threw out possible ideas- candy, beads, buttons, cereal, stickers, pencils, q-tips, etc. And then her teacher sent home a note that they want the kids to dress up as a 100 year old woman/man and that's it. It was very underwhelming. But we tried our best to make her look old with stuff around the house.
I'm not so sure we pulled it off exactly. But she felt good about her outfit. And I just think she looks cute in glasses, which is good if she inherited my eyesight.
And it's always fun to be caught off guard by your child taking a picture of you. Could my teeth look any larger? Oh and do you see the hearts on the wall behind my head?
I've decided to make that my holiday wall. And I saw the hearts done on a blog and couldn't help myself.
Are those 3-D hearts you ask? Why yes, yes they are! Our Kitchen is a lot more cheery since they went up.
This Weeks:
TOP 5
1. Stew has been very quick to say he is sorry when he causes problems. It's nice for all of us.
2. My brother-in-law turning 40. It just makes me smile that he is now 40.
3. Getting my visiting teaching appointments set up. It's the hardest part for me.
4. Going to Walmart in the afternoon and miraculously finding a checkout with no line.
5. I've almost lost all of my baby weight. Yay! Although, I'm still not at my ideal weight, but that's okay. One goal at a time.
BOTTOM 5
1. Stew waking up at 5am and coming in and asking if he can watch cartoons. Stewart and I telling him no, it's too early and to go back to his room. He then came in about every ten minutes asking if it's morning yet.
2. Ryan pooping an hour into his first nap everyday, almost like clockwork. Is it possible to change someone's pooping schedule?
3. Some weird lady touching the baby's face and hands while he sat in his car seat. You can look...... but no touchy.
4. Still wishing we had our Bumbo seat for the baby.
5. Sunny asking me if I wanted to hear something gross and saying yes, because how gross could it really be? It was gross. I dry heaved and we immediately had to change topics.

Commenting on your bottom 5- Was it really worse than that story you shared at the RS activity?- that was well documented here: http://marthadam.blogspot.com/2010/09/i-cant-bear-burden-alone.html
