Scrunchie Faces

On Sunday, we went to support my Dad at his Stake Conference, since he was being released from the Presidency.  He did a great job and you could tell that he'll definitely be missed. 

The Conference was held at the Smith Field House on BYU and the kids thought it was great fun to sit in those folding seats.  Luckily, we sat in the section reserved for families, so we weren't the only ones with kids making noise. 

I had giving Stew a piece of candy to suck on to help with our noise level and he accidentally spit it out onto the nasty floor.  Before I had a chance to grab it, he popped it right back in his mouth and said, "See, it's still good mom!".  I was thoroughly grossed out,  and three girls sitting behind us all gasped and then burst out laughing. 

After the Conference was over, one of the girls told me how much she enjoyed sitting behind us.  I'm happy to entertain.

This Weeks:

TOP 5

1. Finally getting a real haircut from a salon. It's been 2 years since I have had it professionally cut.
2. Being done with church by 12:00, we had so much time to relax on Sunday.  (We've had 1:00 Church for the last 2 1/2 years.)
3. Stewart taking the kids outside for hours on Saturday.  My house was clean and I got some good reading time in.
4. The show "Ridiculousness" , It's like AFV but for adults. I had actual tears with a clip showing a Llama that wouldn't leave this man alone.
5. Evie learning the word "mechanically" from somewhere and using it all the time now.  "I know how it works Mom, it works mechanically." or "I can put it back together Mom, because it's mechanically." I love it every time she uses it correctly/incorrectly.

BOTTOM 5

1. Wasted food.  I hate wasting food and yet sometimes, you can only eat leftovers for so long.
2. Using too much carpet powder.  It was extremely fragrant for several days.  They don't tell you how much to use on the box.
3. Wishing it were Spring all ready.
4. Clear trash bags.  I don't want to see what people are throwing away.
5. One of our neighbors that moved into our building in the Fall will not say Hi back to me.  At first I thought maybe he didn't see or hear me.  But now I will make eye contact with him and say Hi, and I get nothing.  He just keeps on walking or looks down.  His wife is nice.  But apparently the dude is just weird.
