The Kings

It was the kids last camp of the summer this week.  I think we're all a little sad about that.  Although Evie did get her picture in the paper.  She was thrilled.

 Perhaps not her most graceful picture.

 Terrific Tuesdays at our library was a success again this week.  It was a Recycle theme and they made crafts out of paper bags, cds, etc.

 Stew thought his hat made him like a pirate so he's making an argh sound.

TOP 5

1.  Ryan is 98% potty trained!!!!  I almost don't even need to remind him to go potty anymore. Hooray!
2. This week's FHE lesson was on being respectful and using kind words.  I told the kids we would work on this all week.  The next day Evie was kind of using a meaner tone with Stew and I heard Stew say, "You're not being very respectful." and then he gasped, and yelled  "Repentance!"
3. The show "Fixer Upper" on HGTV.  My mom told me about it and I absolutely am hooked now.
4. Getting the required school supplies for the kids early before it's all gone.  Whew!
5.  Evie making friends with a little girl from Soccer this week and she ended up having a play date with her.  And then we found out the family is Mormon and is in another ward.  It was a fun surprise.


BOTTOM 5

1.  The end of all of the sports, craft, and cooking camps this week.  How will I keep them busy?
2.  Going VT this week to a new assignment and she didn't turn on any lights in her house for a couple of minutes.  It was really dark in there.  And I think she only did it because little Ryan said why are the lights off mommy?  It was a little odd. 
3. Stew needing a new pair of shoes again.  His feet have grown a whole size in two months.
4. Evie's head getting sunburned and peeling. 
5. Boogers showing up on the walls again.  The kid has been caught this time though and had to go scrub them off.  :)
