It's Time

I really enjoy reading my family and friend's blogs. It's fun to see what everyone is up to. So I finally decided it was time for the King family to join the crowd. I've been hesitant because... I didn't have access to a camera. (Stewart uses our only camera for work everyday. And really, blogs are just more fun with pictures.) I'm happy to say we've recently acquired a second camera- hooray! So let the blogging begin!

Here's a Quick Update:

I've been horrible at keeping up with others so here's a quick run down on our family:

Stewart is currently a licensed real estate appraiser and works out of our home. He gets the bottom floor of our townhouse all to himself. The poor guy has learned to deal with the thumping of little Evie’s feet as she runs back and forth from our family room to the kitchen. And every couple of days gets to listen to the sweet high pitch lullaby of our old squeaky dryer.

This coming January he’ll be returning to BYU to finish his chemical engineering degree. He turns 33 in a couple of weeks and he might just be the only one his classes with a few grey hairs besides his professors. Good times. So we will be packing up and moving back to good old Utah Valley in the next couple of months.

Evie just turned 2 and is my little buddy around the house. She likes to stick close by me and every few minutes ask, “What are you doing, Mommy?” She won’t hesitate to let me know when the family room needs cleaning. I’ll hear “It’s a mess in here.” Followed by , “Mommy, vacuum up the crummies.” She loves to color and sing and dance. But her most favorite thing is playing with daddy. However, Stewart and I are not sure if she’s our child, since she doesn’t really like candy, cookies or any sort of treats. It’s really strange.

As for me, I’m large with child. I have about 5 weeks left and can’t wait for this little munchkin to come out. I’m really looking forward to seeing what this little guy looks like and to sleep on my back again. Oh, how I’ve missed sleeping on my back. He’ll be named after his dad - Stewart Nicholas King IV. Yes, that’s right, he will have a “IV” after his name. Right now, we’re thinking we’ll just call him “Stew”. We’re all excited to have a new little boy join our family.

I’m looking forward to the move myself. Although, I’m sad I won’t be 8 minutes away from my womb-buddy anymore. But Provo is still close, and I’m ready for a new place and a new ward. Our current ward is … how should I put this… um crazy. I’m sure my family will miss all of the fun stories.

Hooray!! Amber has a blog! I've been wondering what you've been up to and what your little Evie looks like. Wow, she looks like a little Amber...smile.
Okay, so I'm a bit embarrassed to say this but I didn't know you were expecting...I'm becoming a cousin that doesn't know anything about her other cousins...big sigh. We are so happy for you guys! It will be fun to hear all the fun happenings with your little fam. Sure love you! Sadie

Congrats on your pregnancy! I didn't know either. Blogs are good for this...it really is hard to email and keep up with everyone. Thanks for inviting us to your blog. Evie is a doll! I'll send you an invite to our blog as well. Good luck moving back to Provo and don't feel bad about the gray hairs and being in school. Tyler's got plenty of them and we're still doing the school thing. :)
